Dave Russell

Dave Russell’s main job is working for ITV news as a cameraman and reporter but in his spare time works as the Trust’s voluntary Press and PR man.

Dave has travelled to Tokyo three times with Tim Blackman during the search for Lucie, and he has covered her disappearance for ITV since she vanished in July 2000.

Since then Dave's many skills with a camera have been utilised with the

production of all of our video presentations.

These films have proven to be exceptionally effective as educational tools for the Trust and have received excellent responses wherever they are shown.

And perhaps most importantly, together with Tim, Dave developed SafetyText.
