LUCIE BLACKMAN TRIDENT ALARM:

Branded especially for the Lucie Blackman Trust, this personal attack alarm is different from most as it has three functions.

When activated it emits an ear piercing 138 decibel screech that will draw everyone's attention, and help repel an attack

If also sprayed directly at an attacker, they become coated in a foul smelling substance, and an invisible ultra violet identifier.

ANTI DRINK SPIKING PRODUCTS

The Lucie Blackman Trust has tested many different products designed to protect against drink spiking. We feel that these products tend to lull the user into a false sense of security, and are not foolproof. It is still quite easy to administer a drug through these devices, particularly as many are available in liquid form, and in some cases makes the user even more of a target. It is for this reason that we currently only recommend and sell the Drink Detective and the Drink Spike Detector shown here:

DRINKS GUARD DRINK SPIKE DETECTOR

These Drink Spike Detector Kits are excellent. The statistics for drink spiking are rising rapidly and these are really simple to use. In the pack is a piece of specially impregnated card. By dabbing a sample of your drink on the two dots with your finger, it will turn blue if it is drugged.

STOPPA RED UV

This pocket sized canister expels a thick, slimy red 'goo' that sticks to an attacker. It contains UV dyes which can identify them days later.

X-MARKER

X-Marker sprays an attacker with a thick, bright blue foam. This blocks their eye sight temporarily giving you enough time to get away. The attacker is stained blue for up to three days, aiding identification.

Section 5(1) (b) of the Firearms Act 1968 prohibits any weapon or whatever description designed or adapted for the discharge of any noxious liquid, gas or other thing. Thus, because X-Marker doesn’t contain any substances a court in this country may consider noxious and the can itself is not designed to discharge a noxious substance, it is not prohibited by section 5(1) (b) and does not come under the control of the firearms legislation. It is important to remember that X-Marker is fully legal when used as a self defence product. It must not be used in any other way as this may result in criminal or civil proceedings.
