First and foremost, the Lucie Blackman Trust exists to provide people iwht information and resources to keep themselves safe. In order to acheive this it is vital that the information we have reaches as far and wide as it can. You can hlep us with this in many ways. Firstly, tell your friends, family and colleagues all about the Trust, point them to our website and pass on to them any advice or tips you may have picked up from us. You can also download any of our campaign literature or safety guides and post them at college, at work, at your local. Make sure you have permission first! You can also forward our videos and messages to your friends online (see our section on Online saftey).
Unfortunately, the Lucie Blackman Trust receives no government funding but inevitably the day to day running of the organisation , producing campaigns, sourcing safety devices all cost money.
However, the beauty of holding a fundraising event for us is that it is never just a means of achieving a funding stream. With all events there should be a high emphasis on what the charity is all about and passing on all the information and advice available on Personal Safety.

You can also support us by donating your old mobile phone. We can recycle any old mobile, regardless of age and condition, and raise valuable funds by doing so. Freepost envelopes for this are available on request. If you have an office or place of work where you could collect old mobiles for us, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
