MISSION
STATEMENT
The Lucie Blackman Trust seeks to educate women and young
people in the use of existing and emerging technologies as
devices for their personal safety.
METHOD
The Lucie Blackman Trust’s primary interest is raising
awareness of safety for women and young people by providing
access to practical safety solutions.
The Trust identifies existing and emerging technologies which
provide personal safety for young people, and is a portal
of access to these technologies for individuals, organisations,
schools, colleges and universities.
The name of Lucie Blackman in association with The Trust
provides a resonant tone providing an identity for safety
awareness to women and young people.
Lucie Blackman is familiar to school authorities, teachers
and head teachers, college and university principals and lecturers,
and the many organisations and bodies grouped around education.
This enables the Trust to continually work to make these bodies
aware of the educational facility being developed and provided
by the Trust.
